Packing List

When should I RSVP by?

Whether or not you are able to make it, please RSVP by August 1, 2026. To note, due to the limited number of rooms at the hotel, we strongly encourage you to book your stay as soon as possible!

Can I bring my little ones?

We are unable to include children in our celebration so kindly request that only those noted on your invitation attend. We hope you can understand!

Can I bring a guest?

We kindly request that only those noted on your invitation attend as the venue space is limited.

What’s the best way to get from the airport to my accommodation?

We will be covering and coordinating cars from the nearest airports (BJX and QRO) through our lovely planners, Tania and Barbara. Please let them know when you book your travel so they can begin making those plans!

If you plan on flying into Mexico City and embarking on the beautiful 3.5 hour drive, they will be happy to help you with a rental car service or transportation from there. *Important note for those driving* please bring pesos as the tolls in Mexico only accept cash.

Transportation from San Miguel to the airport after the weekend can also be coordinated through Tania and Barbara on your own!

Should I bring pesos?

Yes! San Miguel is a UNESCO World Heirtage site featuring many small shops and boutiques so if you plan on exploring the city, we highly recommend bringing pesos, but mostly all places do accept card or Apple Pay. Tipping in cash is also usually appreciated. If you are driving from Mexico City, the tolls only accept cash, so it’s important to bring pesos for that as well!

What is the dress code?

For those in town on Thursday, our welcome festivities will be a white party! From linens to silks, anything white or as close to white as you can will be perfect. Friday night will be for dancing in the streets followed by a dinner at a rooftop, so comfortable flats or heels and dresses fitting for an evening surrounded by the stars is the idea! Bright, colorful formal attire is requested for the ceremony and reception. For a more thorough breakdown, we encourage you to check out our suggested packing list at the top of this page!

Where will the celebrations take place?

The celebrations will conveniently be held outdoors at Casa de Sierra Nevada, A Belmond Hotel, where most guests will be staying. We imagine waking up the morning of the ceremony to as many of your faces as possible and sharing coffee and stories before the main event!

Are you signed up with a registry?

As you are traveling across the globe to celebrate with us in Mexico, your presence means the world to us and is all we ask for. If you'd still like to contribute to our future, please use the link at the bottom of our homepage. It can also be accessed here.

I’ll be taking photos and want to share them with the bride and groom. What’s the best way to do that?

We love photos and would love for you to take as many as possible! While the ceremony itself will be “no phones,” if you plan to take photos throughout the day or even the weekend, please text them or email them to us! We’ll be sure to include them in the yearbook we make so these memories last a lifetime.

What’s the easiest way to get international data for my phone?

If you already have a plan with a provider that includes International coverage, such as certain T-Mobile, AT&T, or Verizon plans, this can be a convenient and potentially cost-effective option that automatically kicks in upon landing in Mexico. Alternatively, you can easily purchase an eSIM before your trip from places like Amazon, Best Buy, Target, or your local phone provider retail shop.
